Dear local news outlets,

Okay, I realize that a large portion of your reader/viewership is rabidly awaiting developments in the story of the recently-fired football coach.  It seems to me, however, that this is a bit more important.  You might at least mention it.

That sleeping caldera is one of the most frightening things in the world, when I read the history and stop to think about it. So I don't stop to think about it often...
